Grid-Tie PV
Solar System
Also called grid connected, this solution has no batteries. You are hooked to the national grid and solar electricity system, meaning that at the flick of a switch you will always have electricity. You can install a solar electricity system of any size and you will only be billed if your power consumption exceeds the amount generated.
Hybrid PV Solar &
Backup System
The best of all worlds - solar power with battery backup and all excess power generated by the solar panels returned to the grid. Smart inverters can programme the use of battery power during peak times. In the ultimate hybrid configuration, your power can come from solar panels, wind turbines, diesel generator or mains, alone or as a combination.
Off-Grid PV
Solar System
For people who want to be independent of the grid or are in a remote environment. Power is generated by solar panels; a battery bank stores excess power to use at night or when the sun doesn't shine. As the system is your only source of power, many off-grid systems use multiple charging systems such solar, wind and generator.
